Kyoto Back Alley Story ~Audio guide service now available~
We would like to inform you that our hotel will start providing a new "audio guide" service from October 6th.
The Kyoto Back Alley Story audio guide will take you on a journey through the back alleys of Kyoto that cannot be experienced through regular sightseeing.
The audio guide is a service that allows you to download a dedicated app to your smartphone and follow the guide on the app to enjoy the experience. The guide will be available in three languages, and will be a travel guide that uses audio, photos, text, and the five senses that are unique to smartphones.
What is Kyoto's back alley story?
Sanjo Ohashi Bridge is the final point of the 53 stations of the Tokaido. With the Kamogawa River as its border, the inner area was called Raku-nai and the outer area was called Raku-gai, where many inns were lined up and many people came and went.
Sanjo, where the hotel is located, is located on such a border. What kind of story does this place, which can be called a border, tell?
Let us take you on a trip to the back alleys of Kyoto, to the other side of Kyoto that you would not notice when walking around the city.
